Emma Schubert

Clinical Psychologist

Emma Schubert, Clinical Psychologist consulting from Chrysalis Allied Health on Fridays.

Emma Schubert is a Clinical Psychologist who works with children, adults and families, with a focus on anxiety, emotional regulation, nervous system functioning, and neurodivergent presentations including ADHD and Autism.

She often supports people who appear to be coping externally but are working hard internally, including children who mask at school and adults managing the cumulative pressures of daily life. Her approach is neuro-affirming, collaborative and developmentally informed, and she works closely with families, schools and other professionals.

Parenting support is a central part of her work, both as a stand-alone service and as an integral component of child therapy.

Emma’s background spans private practice, research with the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, and work across school and community settings, informing a practical approach that integrates emotional, cognitive, sensory and relational factors. She employs evidence-based approaches including Schema Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, ACT and CBT, and offers counselling, assessment and therapy via in-person and telehealth sessions.

Emma offers a 10-minute phone consult to answer any questions.
